it's been a little over a month since i began training for the pasadena 5k, which is coming up soon. i'm not gonna lie, it's been tough going, but i've kept at it making decent progress in a only short time. my lung capacity has definitely improved (former smoker) although learning how to breathe properly while running has been the biggest hurdle for me. pacing has been an issue as well but i find that listening to a good playlist helps. during certain songs i know it's time to chill out and really focus on my breathing and during other songs i know it's time to push myself and pick it up a bit. do you listen to music while you run? if so, what do you like to listen to?
